Presentation on Saline lakes, the loss of them and the impacts on migratory bird populations.
Reflection/Evaluation
Anne White with ONDA gave a great presentation regarding habitat conservation specifically at Lake Abert, the Malhuer and Klamath Marshes which are all in the Pacific International Flyway. She identified the various species that are being impacted by the drying up of these saline lakes. Some of the challenges are drought, agriculture, invasive plants that catch fire easily and carp.
