Short Description of Activity
I finished up the grant application and met with Tyson Cross virtually, our wilderness and climbing ranger in Mt Adams to ask questions before submitting my grant to Lisa.
Reflection/Evaluation
He liked my idea of using a google sheet to sign up for trail stewarding and I sent him my sheets from previous years. He also said we could pick and choose our zones and did not need to stick to certain ones. There are 12 zones so it should give the participants a wide variety of difficulty and length when choosing their zones. The wild card again will be the road conditions and getting to the TH.
I’m very excited to be able to do this monitoring again in this wilderness. Our other stewardship opportunities have come to a halt due to the warm weather. I have my fingers crossed that we get the grant funded.
