To start off the New Year we would like to have each Broad introduce herself and share with us your wish for the New Year regarding the wilderness, the environment, the Great Old Broads, and/or you!

Forest BRAT and advocacy for old-growth forests (Genia)
Update on Urban Forester position for Seattle (Nora)
Lower Snake River Dam BRAT and action items (Penelope)
Update on Alpine Lakes issues (Barb M. and Janna)
Plans for getting together to write postcards for Green River Alliance (Genia)
Education
Book Club on January 26, 2023, at 7 pm via Zoom. We are reading Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore.

Plans for experiential outing to see the eagles on the Skagit River (Barb M.)

Reflection/Evaluation
Fifteen Broads attended the meeting, which was the first of the new year. Each person gave a sentence or two description of her hopes for the upcoming year. This was followed by a discussion of events we have planned. Everyone was enthusiastic and eager to be involved.
