Short Description of Activity
Our team met via Zoom, with the help of Sally Sharp and facilitated by broadband member Starr Belski. We will seek input on optimal timing to contact Senator Heinrich’s office regarding reinstating NEPA for border infrastructure projects. Starr summarized her recent conversation with Senator Heinrich regarding borderland and other public land issues. She will follow-up with a letter to Senator Heinrich’s office regarding potential initiation of a “Dear Colleague” letter relative to borderland funding issues. Reflection/Evaluation
Went well. We are hoping more of our committee members can get involved in these Zoom sessions and some of the follow-up activities, although scheduling is a challenge.
