Wrote letter to President Biden asking him to choose the no action alternative to the proposed Willow Oil and Gas Development Project DEIS.
Reflection/Evaluation
I believe this project is not in line with the Administrations planned goals of cutting greenhouse gas emissions. I also believe it is a carbon bomb, which will do great damage to our ecosystem for decades to come. I also believe that the shortcomings of the original EIS, as decided by the courts when they required a DEIS, are not properly and thoroughly addressed in the DEIS. However the political pressure on the administration to approve the project was great, he caved, great disappointment!
