Short Description of Activity
As a committee member of Gallatin Valley Earth Day, I attended meetings and gave input advising on guest speakers and events for the forum, which spanned four months of ongoing talks and events. I advised the Coordinator to choose Wildlife as a focus this year, and provided names of dozens of experts who might be invited to speak. I actually conveyed the invitation to several guest speakers, and participated in events on April 22, 2023.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal was effective community engagement, and it was met in terms of over 1500 participants in this year’s Earth Day. 4
