Short Description of Activity

To celebrate an 80th birthday and two-83rd birthdays, a long and fun hike took place in the beautiful MacDonald Forest. Of the 20 people present, the average age was 74; 15 Broads hiked the entire route.

Reflection/Evaluation

Although the weather didn’t cooperate, everyone had a great time and spent time bonding with one another. The hike required a shuttle and participants were encouraged to find their own transportation which made it much easier for the organizer. The hike served to generate more interest in the Broadband’s activities.
