Short Description of Activity
Monitored along Devil’s Thumb Rd from the most southern part of the WSA, stopping to clean up three separate parking areas.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is to keep these areas cleaned of trash when possible and to notify BLM when other assistance is needed. Unfortunately there was more trash today than has been seen since I first began stewardship at this area.I removed two large trash bags of trash, i.e. liquor bottles, beer bottles, gun trash, paper trash… However, I had to notify BLM of mattresses and box springs, and a table top that had been dumped that would require a truck to remove. I have written a report to BLM of my findings.
