Outcome 1: Stream/river sampled (4 samples)
Short Description of Activity
On 3/28/24, Sample collected for determining oxygenation level, additional samples collected for metals assessment by River Watch Lab, filtered and unfiltered, and sample for volunteer to conduct all remaining protocols of pH, alkalinity, and hardness of stream water. Protocols were conducted. On 3/31/24, data was submitted on line to River Watch, samples for metals assessment for this event and prior event packed along with copies of all field forms. Package will be mailed on 4/1/24. Data will also then be submitted to CPW.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is to provide reliable data about the river’s health and status to River Watch and CPW on a consistent monthly basis for the use of decision makers in Colorado. This goal is being met.
