Short Description of Activity
The presenter was Dr. Christopher Monz from Utah State University. This webinar presented results of several studies showing impacts of various types of outdoor recreation on several species of wildlife.
Reflection/Evaluation
I didn’t think it was worth the time to learn that wildlife avoid people in their habitat, and in general, the louder and faster the activity the farther the wildlife go to avoid it. I was surprised to learn that elk avoid hikers even more than they avoid horses.
