Short Description of Activity
An email and phone call with an individual affiliated with Mt Adams and the Cascade Forest Conservancy who is looking for volunteers/groups who are willing to go out and hike trails to talk with other hikers about the Forest Service layoffs and how that will affect public lands and to educate people on good environmental practices
Reflection/Evaluation
Good positive call. I passed on his info to the Broads leadership group, and we will discuss this at the next Leaders meeting.
This can be something to coincide with our Solitude monitoring. We have worked with the MT Adams FS the last couple of years. We are known by them so this might be a workable fit.
