Monthly Broadchat – “Dams in Peril”
Reflection/Evaluation
Wonderful presentation by Amy, Debra Eller and Pam regarding the Snake RIver Dams and why we want them breached. Lots of information regarding the fish that are impacted as well as the impacts on Orca’s. They also shared how folks can get involved and how slow this process has been and will be. There was a woman who has an interest in the subject and she and her husband drove all the way from Boise to hear this presentation. We are trying to connect her with members in Eastern Oregon as Boise doesn’t have an active broadband. We added her to our mailing list so she will have access to any broadchats that we do via hybrid. Very big turn-out.
