Short Description of Activity
Regular leadership meeting. Lots of advocacy issues to discuss, which makes us realize how busy we are but also just how much shit is going on.
Reflection/Evaluation
Our advocacy discussion is pretty extensive, the issues are: NW Forest Plan; Biomass; Townhall meetings; the Healing Canoe trip coming up regarding the Snake River Dams; BLM Bridge Creek project; Mining in the Malhuer and impacts from use of chemicals; Wiley Flat projects on Ochoco National Forest; Deschutes Landfill issue; plans for Pacific Power line to run east of Ben; Crater Lake Wilderness presentation; McDermit mining moving forward and urgency to push comments. We have some camp-outs coming up and plan to take a look at the destruction done by fires last year in the Ochoco’s. WHEWWW— That’s all folks
