Short Description of Activity
Wrapped up the trail mapping project that was started in Jan 2024. Deliverable were GPX files of all the trails in this unmanaged county park including a color-coded key indicating usage patterns.
Reflection/Evaluation
We partnered with the Pima County Master Naturalists to conduct this project. The Broads were not overly interested, but the Master Naturalists took the ball and ran with it. In the future, we will leverage relationships with the Master Naturalists to surface interesting projects such as this and jointly complete them. I suspect that the age/abilities of our members prevented the Broads from being excited about this idea.
