Short Description of Activity
1. April 8, 2025 the Tucson Broadband was invited to participate for the second year at the Pima Community College Conservation Day. 4 Broads showed up including the two co-leaders. There were 30 other environmental organizations tabling at this event. Had the opportunity to introduce the Broads organization and our mission to the entire group at the beginning of the event. We stayed for 6 hours.
2. April 27, 2025. Tabled at the Rillito Farmers Market for 5 hours. 4 Broads helped including the two co-leaders. Gathered 16 new signups for the list serve.
Reflection/Evaluation
1. Had fruitful discussions with other environmental organizations and teachers from Pima Community College. Several students stopped by, but seemed less interested. A separate activity report will be filed with a cool connection and resultant outcomes.
2. Great discussions with the public, including several people who had no idea about the threat to Tucson and the Santa Rita Mountains by the CopperWorld mine.
