Short Description of Activity
Special Water Sentinels Day. Gary Beverly invited City of Prescott and other government representatives. At Perkinsville, Gary did a presentation on history and status of the Upper Verde River. City of Prescott Councilman Ted B. donned waders and measured along with Bro Russ. Jenny demonstrated and explained how we measure waterflow and turbidity. Karen Olson recorded data. Jenny, Russ, Karen, and Water Sentinel David Douglas went on to Bear Siding along with David’s wife Billie Marie.
Reflection/Evaluation
Waterflow levels usual. Jenny, Russ and Karen inspected the river at Verde Springs. Granite Creek met at the confluence but no measurable water flow. Usual pools algae covered. Photos on my FB page. Bro Gary representing Sierra Club and CWAG
