Short Description of Activity
Our Broadband gathered to have fun kayaking or paddle boarding on Saguaro Lake in the Salt River Canyon area, and to clean up trash in the park. Our member, Colleen Miniuk gave instruction to the novice kayakers and paddle boarders.
Reflection/Evaluation
This was a great community development activity! Everyone enjoyed it and we saw bald eagles in the canyon. Unfortunately, there was much more trash littering the park than I had envisioned.
We all wan to do this again.
