Reflection/Evaluation
Discussion regarding all the logging orders from Trump and agencies being advised to identify plans for increases in logging. Other topics and concernsis the redfiniting ES Act, seems there attacks on all sides for anything environmental. Strategies are to attend rallys, support lawyers who assist us in litigation, bombard representatives with letters/phone calls, as much as possible have boots on the ground. Suggested to think about June 7th for a day of action for National Trails Day. Continue to see how wildfire concerns is a means of frightening people to believe that logging and thinning is the answer. Chandra/National is working on a National position statement for Forests.
