Short Description of Activity
Meeting with open discussion regarding what do we see with our forests, how do we “rewild” our forests and wilderness areas.
Reflection/Evaluation
Good discussion but unsure of what exactly this group wants to see happen. Discussion of what do we do , next steps with “what we are losing”. There are so many other groups with same concerns and looking for solutions. Some ideas is to have conversations about focusing on values of what is living vs resource or dead. Valuing what we have in place. Accepting we live in a fire adapted ecosystem, focus on home hardening, advocate for natural disturbances not industrial foresty disturbance, and education that nature will come back if we leave it alone. Again, not sure what they wanted from us imparticular, things were pretty vague.
