Reflection/Evaluation

Lots of discussion about frozen funds and grants that are needed for emergency management of cities and counties, concerns regarding impacts on education and protections for our most vulnerable. A highlight for me was hearing that “Executive Orders are NOT law- they are threats, not actions.” Congress is reponsible for actions. More conversations regarding all the lawsuits on the Trump administration at this time and at issue is that Congress can’t file lawsuits- Oregon Attorney General, along with 18 other states are filing lawsuits.Another take-away is bynum who initially voted for “Fix our Forest” made it clear that she wants to hear from us as she doesn’t know what our concerns are or what kinds of things will have major impacts.
