Short Description of Activity
We searched for Mexican mosquito fern, a water plant in Portman Reservoir, around all 3 bodies of water. We also searched the portion of Fossil Creek north of the reservoir.
Reflection/Evaluation
We found duckweed and were able to determine how it is different from Azolla Mexicana. We did not find any areas of Azolla Mexicana. We did see great blue heron, cormorants, and painted turtles. The area is an urban park in Fort Collins.
