Short Description of Activity

Wildflower Hike on the North Fork of the Big Thompson: “This moderate trail travels through forest, river, meadows and portions of the severe burn area. Discover the plants that inhabit these ecosystems; strategies for identifying plants; while having fun.

Reflection/Evaluation

The Wildflower hike was very educational and a great way to connect with a small and enthusiastic group of people. Our main goal was to learn about and identify the plants that grow in this area. We found and identified over 30 plants including shrubs and trees.
