Short Description of Activity
One on one meeting with Representative Bynam with local conservation groups.
Reflection/Evaluation
Great meeting. Bynam gave us over an hour to discuss with her all of our concerns regarding conservation concerns due to the Trump Administration. She did apologize for voting for “Fix our Forest” bill. (she had heard from many of us after she did this). We brought her up to speed with our concerns for the selling of public lands, the recinding of the roadless rule, logging our forests to death, etc. She was very receptive and asked us to simply keep her informed as we have boots on the ground and conservation obviously is nothing that she has a lot of knowledge of. I am seeing that she is reaching our more to conservation groups.
