Reflection/Evaluation
WOW is all I can say. Less than a mile from me experienced the release of pressure on the GTN Express gas line. It sounded like 6 jets flying overhead and drew the attention of not only my neighbors but also workers in a housing development located where this gas line is located. I located the company workers and asked them about what was going on. They replied they were doing maintenance to release pressure. I have lived in this area 39 years and have NEVER heard this kind of noise. I contacted Columbia Riverkeeperw who filed a lawsuit against GTN. It went to 5th circuit court last month for review of FERC’s approval. We await the courts decision. ( I am a declarant on this case). Wanted to let them know of this experience. GTN is known for many gas leaks and destruction, so pretty scary being in my backyard basically. If that puppy every blows there will be impact not only on my home, but neighboring school, new library and the new housing development.
