Key Partners: Numerous broadband chapters
Short Description of Activity
Updates as to what is or is not going on with grazing concerns right now. Major concerns is what is going on with lack of Federal staff to oversee allotments and forests.
Reflection/Evaluation
Locally we are not hearing from anyone so monitoring is a bit difficult with lack of information regarding allotments – let alone areas that are or were closed due to major fires last year. Bitterbrush did have a campout this summer to look at some of these areas and cattle have been in there but mostly we looked at the areas of severity of fires. NEPA is an issue righ now but it is still important for us as much as possible to continue to do what we can with monitoring and taking pictures.
