Short Description of Activity
Regular County Commissioners Meeting- this meeting dealt with a decision to change land zoning.
Reflection/Evaluation
And once again our County Commissioners looked at changing Forest/ Farm area zoning to multi-use housing. This is a dangerous area due to wildfires and the houseless that live not too far from the area. They are proposing a huge “single home” housing development with the proposal about ” affordable housing”. THat is not the case in Sisters, Oregon where the median income is $93,000. That does not help affordable housing let alone changing this zoning. I opposed this project as did Land Watch.
