Short Description of Activity

7 members traveled to Last Dollar Pass. 5 to look for bighorn sheep and domestic sheep and 2 to monitor vegetation.

Reflection/Evaluation

5 members hiked the Whipple Mountain trail. No bighorn sheep were observed, although we did see one domestic herd. Members had experience using equipment optical equipment. Two people prepared a species list and photographed plants for iNaturalist. Serious invasion of a weed, musk thistle, was documented and info shared with county weed commissioner.
