Bi-monthly meeting of Central Oregon Conservation Groups working with the Oregon League of Conservation Voters
Reflection/Evaluation
Lots to talk about: the transportation bill in Salem that did not pass, concerns of where the new landfill site is going to be and litigation that is going to probably happen, and Corridination of Pints and Politics. Looking at what will be priorities for 2026 for OLCV- possibly funding for wildlife crossings, compensation for wolves, greenhouse emissions. Big on many of our lists is dealing with the “Fix our Forest”, NEPA and the Rescinding of the Roadless Act.
