Short Description of Activity
First Friday or Second Friday Brunch Meet-Ups by the Dolores River are growing in popularity. We meet to plan each month individually with the leadership crew and invite all Broadband members to join us.
I also attended 3 Broadband Connect webinars. 1 Forest Nat meeting. 1 CO Broadband Zoom. 1 WALTS Zoom meeting.
Sally and I have attended numerous meetings, phone calls, and emailed about our first Broadwalk- Walking in the Footsteps of Alice Eastwood happening Sept 5-8th.
Reflection/Evaluation
We have added projects, associated leaders, and new members from this practice. It’s a social event too as they sang Birthday songs in English and Spanish with the whole restaurant crew who dressed me up in a huge purple and gold sombrero!
Our first Broadwalk featuring cultural consultants Arnold Clifford Navajo ethnobotanist and artist Eugene Joe Baatsoslanii will be this upcoming weekend. I can’t wait to see how it goes. Untold hours of prep for a Broadwalk, but it should be unforgettable!
