Opportunity to have a TV interview with local outdoor newsperson regarding the Rescinding of the Roadless Act.
Reflection/Evaluation
Had a great opportunity to hike to an area that would be impacted by the rescinding of the Raodless Act. The Tv broadcaster does many stories on outdoor issues and concerns. He had a pretty good idea already regarding the Roadless Act. We hiked to Tumalo Falls, lots of pictures and great interviews. Sami with Oregon Wild did a great job with presenting the overall concerns and showing on a map where these impacts would be. I was able to also explain about the overall issue is logging. Great presentation on the news and this broadcaster wants to do more with GOB’s.
