Ongoing meetings to work collectively on commenting on the Forest Service Rescinding the Roadless Rule.
Reflection/Evaluation
Lots of good information and discussion. The Wilderness Society gave some history of the rule and why two states are exempt at this time. One of the biggest issues is the little amount of time given for comments. Issues brought up were to emphasize underlying values of lands, why roadless is important to you, challenge the excuse of this prevents forest fires and what the cost of dergulaing logging will be.
