Reflection/Evaluation
21 participants in and near the Town of Chino Valley. Town recreation leader soke to us about present and future projects including the portion of the Peavine Trail that passes through the Town. We carpooled out Perkinsville Road where we observed a herd of 30 or more pronghorn – see photos on Jenny’s FB page. Naturalists Dr Greg Murray and Dr. Walt Anderson and Joanne Oellers (a Broad) kept up educational dialogue. Ecologist Kathy Murray also contributed. We observed, photographed and discussed wildlife goals, including future outings (one planned for Nov. 22) and possible wildlife corridors. Parked next by the Reclamation Pond where we observed another pronghorn herd. Successful Outings – our goals were met and more. I have only counted my hours.
