Short Description of Activity
Normal sampling event with additional metal samples for River Watch to evaluate twice yearly. Collected 6 samples (filtered and unfiltered of normal,duplicate and Blank) for assessment in Denver office of metals in water of the Uncompahgre. Collected sample for protocol to determine oxygenation of water. Collected a sample for executing protocols to determine pH, alkalinity, and hardness. Conducted all protocols and filed report with River Watch online. Holding metal samples until next month’s event.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is to conduct sampling event on regular basis, to do so in a reliable manner, and to provide data to River Watch for use by those who need it to make decisions about our river’s health. This was accomplished.
