Short Description of Activity
Klamath River Campout to plan for regional/national campout for next year.
Reflection/Evaluation
Went well but camping on top of thistle and horse shit wasn’t the best. It was cold in the mornings and dark early at night and early in the morning, which made meal prep and clean-up a bit tricky. All in all got to see the lay of the land, see where the dams have been removed, got ideas of what would be important for folks to see. Also discussed what kinds of stewardship projects we could be looking at. Some challenges such as water, showers, etc so trying to work with nearby RV park. June might be a bit touchy as far as if we are too late in the month it could be extremely warm. Also hoping to find a caterer.
