Short Description of Activity
A public forum put on the COLV with the scorecard of legislative action that happened this past session. It’s been awhile since we have had one of these.
Reflection/Evaluation
Turn out was great – packed room. Reviewed bills that passed, some are good and some of the good ones did not get passed, but will work on those again. Also reviewed bad bills that did not pass and the few that did pass and how we are going to counter act with those. One of the big national one discussed is the Fix our Forest bill which we all need to tell our senators and reps to vote no. The hope is that it will fail just like the selling of our public lands.
