Short Description of Activity
Jessica Cheadle, volunteer coordinator with CNHP, taught us about the Statewide Biodiversity study and how we can find locations to document rare plants and then do that work. We looked at a map of locations to find and she showed us an example of how to enter the data. We would make observations with iNaturalist and later enter the data into the map. The area of the study is the whole state of Colorado.
Reflection/Evaluation
Good information, and good questions were answered by Jessica. Attendees were quite excited about looking for rare plants and helping CNHP with the biodiversity study. Afterward, I wrote up a summary of the information shared and sent it to those who were there, and others who couldn’t come, but are interested in helping with the project.
