Short Description of Activity
The Cascade Volcanoes Chapter met at Kennedy School in Portland for their monthly chapter meeting.
Reflection/Evaluation
We had a terrific speaker, Nathaniel Brody, Wilderness and West-Zone Trails Manager, Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness. 15 people signed up for the training and 19 people signed up for the monitoring. Nathaniel showed some beautiful slides of the Salmon River and the use of Avenza Maps app didn’t even scare them off! The agenda is attached as well as the minutes and the leadership planning meeting as well. I am so fortunate to have the membership that I do. So much expertise and so many Broads willing to step up and help me! Makes my job so much easier!
